Brand Opt-Out Request
Alate by Bits of Tessellate
If you operate a storefront and prefer Alate not to scrape your site, let us know. We will add your origin to our blocklist and stop requesting product pages from it.
How It Works
- Alate fetches public product pages only when a user explicitly pastes or shares the URL.
- We identify ourselves with the User-Agent
Alate/1.0 (+https://tessellate.co.in/alate/brand-optout.html).
- We respect
robots.txt: if your file disallows our path, we bail automatically.
- We do not redistribute scraped data. Product information is shown only to the user who requested it, alongside a "View on Store" link back to your storefront.
- If you want to opt out anyway — no justification required — send us the request below and we'll honour it within 24 hours.
Request Removal
Email us with:
- Your store's origin (e.g.
yourstore.com)
- A brief note if you'd like to tell us why (optional)
- Your name and role (so we can confirm the request is from someone authorised)

What happens next: We add your origin to our blocklist within 24 hours. Any user who pastes a URL from your store will see a "This brand has asked not to be scraped — please visit their store directly" card instead of a fit analysis. Users can still reach you by tapping through to your storefront.
